INSPECT Home Inspection Service
Serving Florida's Home Inspection Needs
Inspection Process
- Once you have selected INSPECT to perform your home inspection, David will work with you to select a day and time to perform the inspection.
- Signed Disclosures.—Prior to contracting for or commencing a home inspection, the inspector is required by the State to provide to the Client a written disclosure that contains the scope and any exclusions of the home inspection. No Inspection will be completed without the Client returning this signed agreement.
- Upon completion of the on-site inspection, we will request payment and promptly deliver (normally within two business day) the inspection report (PDF) via e-mail. For an additional fee of $40.00 a bound, printed hard-copy report will be provided.
- Florida Certified Inspectors are prohibited from holding financial interests in the property being inspected, all fees are therefore to be paid prior to the delivery of the inspection report(s). Inspection reports remain the sole property of the Inspector until all inspection fee(s) are paid in full.
For the average home, actual on-site inspection time ranges 2-3 hours, and we recommend that the client be present during that time. To ensure that you receive the most accurate assessment of your property’s condition, it is important that David be allowed to complete the inspection without distraction. All questions and concerns will be discussed during a verbal consultation following the inspection. If time or availability does not allow for an in-person consultation, David is available to review the written report over the phone after it has been delivered to the client.
